Meet Our Team

Michael Riordan

Mike is a born and raised New Yorker and Central Park has been his “backyard” since before he could walk. A former high school and college athlete, being active has always been a way of life and Central Park has always been the go-to venue.

Since becoming a professional Fitness Trainer in 2007 using the park instead of a crowded stuffy gym was always Mike’s choice. The more time he spent in the park the more curious he became about it’s history. During research he found the details and information so fascinating that he decided to take it further and get certified as an official New York City sightseeing guide and combine his passions of fitness and NYC history and created Fit Tours NYC.

Gina Baminelli

Gina’s fitness journey only started back in 2013 when she decided to run her first obstacle race. After that race, she decided it was time to get back into shape. 30 pounds lighter, she decided to quit her corporate job in 2014 in order to pursue fitness full time.

Gina has her NASM Certified Personal Training certification, as well as her Functional Nutrition Specialization Certification. In addition to working in fitness, Gina is also a NYS licensed tour guide. Her tours range from fitness tours, food tours, and even cocktail tours! When she’s not racing around Central Park or running around in the mud, she likes to bake funny designed cakes.

Meredith Bechtel

Meredith was born and raised in The Woodlands, Texas, graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Acting, and is now happy to call New York City her home. She has been drawn to movement her whole life, starting as a competitive swimmer, then runner, then dancer.

Yoga started out as a fun way to breathe, sweat, and welcome the morning before a day of college classes, but her casual hobby developed into a way of life and she got her RYT 200 certification with Shivakali Yoga. Now she continues to breathe, sweat, and welcome the morning through her vibrant tours of Central Park, and invites you to join her on the journey!
